If you’re looking for the real story on Jack Lalanne’s power juicer then you’ve come to the right place. We’ve read through all the reviews and here is what we’ve come up with. There are more customers that are satisfied with the juicer than there are dissatisfied with their purchase.

Let’s start with some of the Pros noted about Jack Lalanne’s power juicers. There aren’t many parts to Jack’s power juicers so they’re hard to break and very sturdy. It’s also very easy to use and most people agree that for juicers it’s very quiet. People say that the cleanup for the juicer is pretty easy. Just dump out the pulp bucket, clean the blades, and the screen is a little harder to clean but not a big deal.

The produce this juicer does best with are apples, carrots, celery, tomatoes, pears, and ginger. It seems to have a tougher time with kiwis and pineapples.

Here are some of the cons we found about Jack’s juicer. The entire juicer is not stainless steel. Much of it is chrome plated plastic (plastic covered in chrome). Thus some of the parts that are plastic should not be put in the dishwasher because the chrome finish can come off despite the fact everything is supposed to be dishwasher safe. You might be able to get a replacement if this should happen but YMMV.

Another con is that you get the impression that most vegetables can be thrown into the juicer with no problem. This isn’t quite true. Most vegetables have a low water content and need to be put in with other high water content fruits to get the blender to cut everything up properly.

Overall the juicer does just about everything it says it should. There may be a few misleading advertisements, but it’s still better than most juicers out there.
